SAN ANTONIO – This weekend is your chance to check out the SA Auto and Truck Show! The show will feature the latest new vehicles, hot, exotic cars, exclusive ride-and-drive opportunities, and hundreds of 2016 vehicles from the world’s leading automotive manufacturers.
Who should attend the show? Anyone who is interested in what’s new in the auto industry, anyone who is looking for inexpensive family-fun, anyone who may be looking to purchase a new car but wants to check out a car without any of the sales pressure.
Here’s a bit of what’s happening at the Henry B. Gonzales Convention Center this weekend:
Green Truck and Green Commercial Car Awards
The third annual Green Truck Award will be presented during media morning on Thursday, November 10, prior to the public opening of the show, by Green Car Journal, as well as the second annual Commercial Green Car Award – both internationally-acclaimed awards. Finalists for 2017 Green Truck of the Year™ include the Chevrolet Colorado, Ford F-250 Super Duty, GMC Canyon, RAM 1500, and Honda Ridgeline (Winner). Vying for 2017 Commercial Green Car of the Year™ are the Ford F-250 Super Duty, Ford Transit Connect, Mercedes-Benz Metris, Nissan Titan XD, and RAM ProMaster City (Winner).
DEBUT: The Ram Experience
The Ram Truck brand will debut the Ram Truck Territory experience, a 30,000-square-foot unique truck-focused interactive ride experience for consumers attending the show. The Ram Truck Territory experience will provide an in-truck adventure demonstrating the power and capabilities of the Ram Truck brand vehicle lineup. Professional drivers will navigate attendees through the interactive course in a Ram 1500, Ram 1500 Rebel, Ram 2500, all new Ram 2500 Power Wagon, or Ram 3500.

DEBUT: Late European Aston Martin, Lotus, Bentley, Rolls Royce
Late European, South Texas’ dealership for exclusive sport and luxury automobiles, is pleased to announce that they will introduce four new models at the 2016 San Antonio Auto & Truck Show.
The new models include those just released in the past two weeks by Aston Martin (DB 11) and Lotus (Evora 400), which have just arrived in the U.S. market. The complete list of models to be presented to the San Antonio auto community includes: 2017 Rolls Royce Dawn (convertible), 2017 Bentley Bentayga (SUV), 2017 Aston Martin DB 11 (coupe), 2017 Lotus Evora 400 (coupe).
Ride & Drive
Ride & Drive opportunities will be available for Chevy, Chrysler-Ram-Jeep-Dodge-Fiat, Ford, and Toyota. Each ticket purchase for admission includes access to the ride & drives.
Aftermarket Expo
The Aftermarket Expo will return for the 2016 show, with amazing new elements, including the Off-Road Ready Jeep Giveaway that will take place at the show! Off-Road-Ready will customize a 2005 Jeep Wrangler with off-road parts. Plus, Texas Car Wraps will apply a Custom Camo Wrap. The jeep will be on display at the show, and there is no purchase required – just a show ticket.
The #SAASFoodieRoadTrip
In partnership with Rita’s on the River, Smoke: The Restaurant, Moses Rose’s Hideout, Hard Rock Café, and Marriott Riverwalk’s Cactus Flower and Born & Raised, the San Antonio Auto & Truck Show is featuring a special contest for guests. Any Auto & Truck Show guests who attend then show, then dine at one of these restaurants will receive an Auto Show dining special (received by showing the SA Auto & Truck Show stamp). Plus, when they post a picture at one of the respective restaurants on their social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram) with the #SAASFoodieRoadTrip hashtag, they’ll be entered to win the grand prize, a mega-gift card treat to all five restaurants.
Ticket Admission and Show Dates/Times
Admission is free for children, ages 5 and under, $4 for children, ages 6-10, $12 for adults online, $14 for adults at the door and $8 for military and seniors. Tickets will be available in September at www.saautoshow.com.
