The first-ever live-action Pokémon adventure, “POKÉMON Detective Pikachu” is based on the beloved Pokémon brand—one of the world’s most popular, multi-generation entertainment properties and most successful media franchises of all time. Fans everywhere can now experience Pikachu on the big screen as never before, as Detective Pikachu, a Pokémon like no other.
Omar Chaparro as Sebastian
The film showcases a wide array of beloved Pokémon characters, each with its own unique abilities and personality. One of the characters that I’m looking forward to watching is Sebastian who is portrayed by Mexican actor Omar Chaparro.
You may recognize Chaparro from a few of his latest movies “Compadres” or “No Manches Frida” 1 and 2 which is one of the highest five film franchises in Mexico.
About portraying Sebastian, Omar Chaparro says, “He’s kind of a crazy guy, over-the-top in the way he dresses and lives, with a huge ego.”
POKÉMON Detective Pikachu Cast
The POKÉMON Detective Pikachu cast includes Ryan Reynolds, Suki Waterhouse, Kathryn Newton, Bill Nighy, Karan Soni, Rob Delaney, Justice Smith, Ken Watanabe, Rita Ora, Chris Geere, Omar Chaparro, Jacqueline Ramnarine, and Kadiff Kirwan. It is directed by Rob Letterman and produced by Hidenaga Katakami, Don McGowan, Mary Parent, and Cale Boyter. This is a collaboration between studios Warner Brothers, Legendary Pictures, and Pokemon Company.
