Brunch in San Antonio with Cocina Heritage Catering – Giveaway

One year ago, my family showed up for a brunch that blew us away. My dear friend, Silvia, and her sister Lupita embarked on a new business – Cocina Heritage Catering and their introductory brunch was the Mother’s Day treat that I requested from my husband. The food is like a trip around Mexico.

The fresh and tasty dishes are delivered with Silvia’s sweet story which includes which region of Mexico the food originated and why the two chose to use specific recipes. Las dos hermanas were smart to hang on to family recipes and now we are the beneficiaries of their desire to cook and create  una communidad. Yes, it’s much more than hot and fresh Mexican food. The food is simply the vehicle for creating a community of friends and family. I’ve made several new and dear amigos over the last year at Cocina Heritage Catering brunches. I consider myself blessed to be a part of their journey.

Without a shadow of a doubt, these ladies cook the best cochinita pibil I have ever had. Yep, I say that with conviction. I even asked Silvia to partner with Qué Means What so that I could have the opportunity to share their delicious food with you, queridos. Thankfully, she agreed. For you, one lucky reader will win a pair of tickets to the One-year Anniversary Celebration of Cocina Heritage Brunch!
