Make Everyday Life Easier … And $200 Visa Giftcard Giveaway from Dr. Smith’s

Disclaimer: This post is part of a sponsored campaign by Dr. Smith’s. All opinions are my own.

Think of all the products out there that were designed to make our lives easier. Didn’t you ever think “Why didn’t I think of this?” I remember the first time I saw a 2-n-1 shampoo and conditioner, it made me mad that I didn’t think of it. I was already mixing the two products to use at once.

When I became a mom, I couldn’t believe the products that were created for us moms like the diaper genie, the wipie warmer and now even the formula Kuerig-like machine. Wow, really?! Yes, really. Life doesn’t have to be so complicated.

3 Tips to Make Everyday Life Easier

I may not  have invented an ultimate time-saver product, but I have a few life hacks of my own that I use to make my life a little bit easier every day.

1. Organize less. This might seem counter intuitive but I’m talking more about my kids toys. I used to have to organize them by groups. The only thing that resulted in was more frustration for me when all the toys would end up either all over the place or mixed up in various baskets. Now, I have a few buckets and as long as all the toys make it IN A BUCKET, I’m happy.

2. Cook all the meat on the weekend. This is new for us. I cook the meat on Sunday, divide it up and freeze it. We use a few pounds of ground beef or turkey for several different meals throughout the week such as Taco Tuesdays, Spaghetti and meat sauce on Wednesday and Chalupas on Thursdays. I haven’t made the full switch to complete meal planning on the weekends but not having to start from scratch every night helps our budget and saves time.

3. Carry travel-size items in my purse. I’m usually rushing out the door to our next appointment. Sometimes I’m so caught up in making sure I have everything for my boys, I run out of time for finish my full ‘getting ready’ routine. So, I carry travel-size lotion, deodorant, hair brush, make-up bag (fully stocked) and perfume. These travel buddies make my life easier and keep me looking good!

Making moms’ lives easier is something Dr. Smith’s has been doing with their fast acting and effective diaper cream for years. With their newly launched Dr. Smith’s Diaper Rash Spray, they take it up a step by keeping their hands clean, too. The spray is gentle, fast acting and effective but a breeze to use. It’s also a money and time saver because you’ll be using less wipies to clean your hands after applying diaper cream on the baby’s bottom.
