Conjunto music is a Texas-based, accordion-driven unique style of music that is near and dear to Tejanos and still gaining fans all around the world.
Our friends at the Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center celebrate this part of our Tejano culture yearly with Tejano Conjunto Festival 2014. Don’t miss it this weekend, May 16-18 at Rosedale Park in San Antonio! Named Best Puro San Antonio Festival in the SA Current, this event is all about the sounds of culture in San Antonio and South Texas.
Single Day tickets are available at the gate at Rosedale Park for $15.
All weekend there will be performances by acts including:
- Los Texmaniacs de Max Baca
- The Texas Tornados
- Los García Bros.
- Los Dos Gilbertos
- Boni Mauricio y Los Máximos

In addition to the concerts, there are two workshops on Saturday morning (May 17th):
Accordion Tuning, Maintenance & Repair Workshop with Tim Schofield, Hohner Accordion Repair & Parts Supervisor and Button Accordion & Bajo Sexto Workshops with Grammy Award-winning recording artists, Joel Guzmán and Max Baca. Each workshop costs $40 and you can still buy a seat online.
