My favorite things are a bit random but they are just that … my favorite things. I’ve either been gifted these, given them as gifts or want to give them as gifts. Be sure to visit the other bloggers’ favorite things for even more ideas!
A GIFT FOR GIRLS NIGHT OUT. I received these Sidekicks Sandals for my birthday and I love them! I had seen these in stores but never bought them for myself. They come in handy when you are out in heels, your feet begin to hurt and you need a cute alternative to give your feet a break. They fold up and come with this handy pouch you can carry alone or tuck in your purse.
A GIFT FOR ANY NIGHT IN. I love this pillow. I’m actually giving it to one of my friends at our next White Elephant Party. (So I hope they aren’t reading this.) The double-sided pillow goes on your bed … no explanation needed. You can find this at Buc-ee’s or any retailer that carries Manual Woodworks & Weavers products. I found a similar pillow here.
A GIFT FOR INSPIRATION. There are many art pieces by The Kelly Rae Roberts Collection. “Dreamer” and “All Things Brave” are two of my favorites. They are inspirational, different and colorful. They come in different sizes and themes but all are inspiring.
A GIFT FOR READING AND MAYBE CRAFTING. Have a reader (doesn’t have to be crafty) on your list? Or are you looking for a unique read? Then Miss Scarlett’s School of Patternless Sewing and Waking Up in the Land of Glitter should be on your list. I read these two books this fall and fell in love with The Crafty Chica’s writing. She immediately becomes your best friend as you read these stories about these American Latina characters.
A GIFT FOR STAYING WARM – PASHMINAS. I have worn these draped over my shoulders at special events, like a heavy scarf around my neck to stay warm, or just wrapped around me to keep warm in a movie theatre. They’ve come in handy in many situations. They can be plain or fancy. These are just a few of my favorites. You can find them at almost anywhere they sell women’s accessories. I love wearing them and giving them.
A GIFT FOR BEAUTY AND FUNCTIONALITY. As a former Mary Kay consultant, I still have my favorite products. The first is Satin Lips set. The mask exfoliates your lips and the balm keeps them hydrated. Perfect match! The second product is one I don’t travel without. There are many roll up bags on the market but I’ve not found another that you can pull the individual pockets out AND hang on the door. I have one to travel and one in my own bathroom because it is so functional. Visit marykay.com to find a consultant. That’s it! What are some of your favorite things gift ideas?
