Thanksgiving Dinner at La Cantera Resort’s SweetFire Kitchen

Don’t want to cook this Thanksgiving? I don’t blame you. Not all of us are excited about spending hours in the kitchen but we still want to enjoy a delicious dinner. If you are in San Antonio or if you can get here by Thursday, consider making reservations  for your Thanksgiving Dinner at La Cantera Resort’s SweetFire Kitchen.

Last week, I was invited for a preview of the buffet that will be served on Thursday. I can’t think of one thing to complain about other than I couldn’t take it home with me.

Baby Gem romaine, bacon lardons, shaved local cheddar, croutons and garlic vinaigrette
Spinach and frisee, candied pecans, cranberries, feta and hibiscus dressing
Roasted pear and apple salad, walnuts, golden raisins, celery and apple cider vinaigrette
Beet Panzanella salad, local feta, wild arugula and red wine vinaigrette
Fingerling potato salad, smoked trout, dill and grain mustard

5 spice cranberry sauce, giblet gravy, Shiner Bock mustard & creamed horseradish
