Dora and the Lost City of Gold – Interview with Eugenio Derbez and Isabela Moner

Hola Queridos! Can you say QUERIDOS?!

The new Dora movie is hilarious! And, I kinda loved it. Honestly, I enjoyed the movie more than I expected to. I sat down the the stars of the movie Dora and the Lost City of Gold, Eugenio Derbez and Isabela Moner, to ask them a few questions. Derbez is also the Executive Director.

We talked about working with a hilarious cast and Latino cast; how they feel about the Peruvian set and what the real takeaway message of the movie is.

There are several fun surprises in this movie too. I won’t give them all away but I have to acknowledge the homeschooling piece. Since Dora has lived in the jungle her whole life, she is a homeschooler. As a homeschool familia, we were excited to see that part unfold.

Dora’s parents played by Michael Peña and Eva Longoria send her to the U.S. to attend high school while they go on a big expedition. However, Dora quickly finds herself back in the jungle on a live-action adventure to save her parents and solve the impossible mystery behind a lost Inca civilization.

Are you ready to watch the movie?!
