Mamá’s Promise to Keep You Safe – #PromiseToBaby

This is a compensated campaign in collaboration with JOHNSON’S® Baby and Latina Bloggers Connect. All opinions are my own.

There are many promises moms make to our babies. They are our forever our babies in our hearts. It’s simple why we do it. We want with all of our being to give them the very best. Some promises are small. Some, however, are UN-breakable. Below are a few of mine to my babies.

I promise to be silly with you

“I promise to be silly with you.”
“I promise to be your biggest fan.”
“I promise to listen to you.”
“I promise to love you.”

“I promise to keep you safe.”

The last is my most important promise to my boys. Part of them knowing they are loved is a feeling of being safe. I tell them that I love them everyday – more than once. Still, it’s important for me to know they are safe.

SAFE – adj. uninjured; with no harm done.

Sometimes keeping them safe means creating a sense of security for them. For example, when they are scared of the cuycuy (boogie monster). Other times keeping them safe means making sure they eat right or securing their seat belts. And sometimes keeping them safe means knowing which everyday products we are using for our kids.

JOHNSON’S® Baby always listens to moms and although their products have always been safe, they took a stand and changed their formulas to give moms peace of mind. Just as moms make promises to their children, JOHNSON’S® Baby also makes promises so moms don’t have to worry about the products they use on their little ones.

To share this commitment, JOHNSON’S® Baby created an inspiring story through the “Our Promise” video (below) as an open letter to moms showing their scientists and their families coming together to build an origami stork mobile, symbolizing the delivery of their promise to always listen to moms.

Mamás, what are the UNbreakable promises you make to your babies?
